Whether you’re just starting out or already building a serious Nepenthes collection, you’re always looking for something special. At Borneo Exotics, we’ve spent decades developing the world’s most diverse range of Nepenthes hybrids, many of which have never been seen outside our nursery.

At the heart of our business, we’re growers, breeders, and conservationists — just like you.

We believe in ‘conservation through cultivation’: by making rare plants widely available, we reduce the temptation for poaching and help protect species in their natural habitat. Every plant we offer is lab-propagated from legally collected seed, and grown with care.

We’d love to be able to sell to you directly. However, because Nepenthes are classified as endangered species, all varieties, including cultivars, are protected under CITES, with significant paperwork required to export plants. For this reason, we sell through a trusted network of pre-approved retail distributors located around the world — specialist carnivorous plant suppliers who love these plants just as much as you do.
